Margarita Island

Margarita Island is the next big area for Your Place Abroad. We have around 4 developments there currently being built with another on nearby Coche Island on its way.

Margarita Island is located on the north east Caribbean coast of Venezuela and is one of three islands comprising the state of Neuva Esparta discovered by Christopher Columbus. The islands cover 1,150 square kilometres; Margarita is the largest and most developed. The highest point on the island is 1,000 metres above sea level and offers spectacular views of the surrounding island, coast and Caribbean waters.

The island boasts many modern shopping centres of an international standard, nightclubs, entertainment centres and an abundance of restaurants. It also has a selection of 2 to 5 star hotels to choose from. Activities include scuba diving, wind surfing, snorkelling, horseback riding, fishing, boating, golf and much more.

Financial Freedom

The overseas property market is a huge market and the rewards are substantial. Last year we sold over 900 properties, our sales power enables us to negotiate exclusive marketing contracts with higher commissions, giving you the chance to work with a quality company that rewards its team. As part of our team we have people from all walks of life, IFA’s sick of compliance. Estate Agents in a tight market, pub landlords, football agents, accountants, lawyers, you name it and weve got it.

A recent Barclays Bank Survey pointed out some amazing facts:
  • 1.4 million brits currently own abroad
  • Set to double in the next four years
  • 40% of the UK population is considering buying abroad.
  • 58% of 19 to 35 year olds will buy abroad before buying a house in Britain.
  • New Investment opportunities in exotic locations are offering significantly higher capital growth than the UK property market
Introducers and Agents

We have two methods of working:

Introducer, this is where you or your staff do an introducers course, where you learn the basics of selling property abroad and more about our company and products enabling you to refer a name, address and phone number for our staff and agents to complete the sale. As an Introducer you receive 2% commission of the purchase price. The average introducer payment during 2005 was £3930.

The authorised agents complete the full training course gaining an in depth knowledge of the industry achieving a level where they are able to close the sale themselves. This usually involves working closely with your account manager for a number of sales, attending workshops and educational visits. As an authorised agent you receive 4% of the purchase price. The average authorised agent payment during 2005 was £7861.
